A week ago, I turned 34. It's been a lovely seven days- even got the gift of seeing the Northern Lights and a shooting star in our backyard!

The best gifts I received are what I've given myself: patience, love, and putting myself first. Being 34 is thus far the best age I've been, and I have a wonderful small tribe to thank and continue to cherish for being the glitter on my life's canvas.

I wrote a little something on my blog about it.

I'm glad I have love, I'm in love, and I'm alive.

What better day than National Dog Day to introduce you all to my little old lady, Pippa.

Pippa is a 10 year old labradoodle with quite a sweater collection. She is a sassy lady who loves to judge everyone, but has her baby moments when she's super comfortable (only at home though, obvz). We've had her for almost half a year, and what a ride it has been! She has the ability to control herself only when a treat is involved (most of the time).
